Dredging Info 11/12/19

To the best of my knowledge and in my opinion the Channel on Fish Lake just Northwest of the Channel that connects the two lakes is part of the lake. This is a man-made channel and is considered part of the lake by the county and the DNR. When it comes to putting in a seawall of altering the shoreline or pier they have to go through the same steps for permitting as any lake front resident. Although the channel lots are usually less valued monetarily than lake front real estate this does not mean it is not part of the lake. This also does not mean the Lake Association is required to pay any money to do work on the channel that is part of the lake but should recognize this channel is considered to be part of the lake just the same.
